The Kindred: Workshop

The Kindred is a gather of women who honor Christ, support each other, and love the art of photography.  I've created a workshop to help facilitate these relationships and to help encourage and support women who are in the early stages of building their business. 

What I use to create the images you see on my site: 

I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark III and have a Canon 5D Mark II as my backup camera.  My two favorite lenses are the 50mm 1.2 and 85mm 1.2.  I always shoot with the lowest aperture possible, given the situation, to allow for lots of bokeh and soft creamy images.  I also own a 24mm and rent a 35mm for most of my weddings.  I use a 580EX flash and occasionally a video light for dark receptions.  I shoot in medium RAW format and edit primarily using Lightroom and presets I've created based on Mastin Labs presets.
